So, its taken me a bit of time to get round to writing about visiting Moseley open gardens *hangs head in shame* – more to the point, the gardens and the photos that you see – have in my mind completely blurred and can no longer tell which ones go with which or where! Even so, I am glad that I took my camera with me and got some lovely shots of some beautiful blooms.
Looking back at the photos I had taken that day, there aren’t that many of the whole garden. There were various different shapes and sizes, some with interesting nooks and seating areas – some were like hidden gems that stretched on and on. To be honest though, whilst walking round, I was more interested in the flowers!
Above: Such a beautiful colour for a door!
Above: If only this shed was in my garden.. it looks like a real haven for the artist this belongs to.
Above: One of my favorite photos from the day!
What’s your favorite flower?
I was very excited to come home to a lovely little package last Monday evening…
A full forty minutes before arriving home, S sent me a picture message to show me that Lionheart Magazine Issue 2 had landed! Needless to say, I was very excited and as soon as I walked through the door, I rushed to unwrap my parcel. I opened the packaging to discover the same beautifully matte weighted paper as Issue 1, Bravery, including the most gorgeous front cover by Natasha Thomspon
I am proud to also share with you that I have contributed to this issue, which is entitled Warmth. I feel incredibly happy to be part of such a beautiful publication, which is more like a book that will be treasured than a glossy throwaway magazine. The pages are full of soul and as an illustrator the array of artwork running through the issue is truly inspiring and a delight to behold.
If you would like to find out more about the magazine, it’s editor and creator or would like to have your very own copy to treasure – head over to the website by clicking this link lionheart magazine. P.S, You can also still buy issue one too!
The second issue is titled Warmth and it certainly has a true and beating heart.
This is also a particularly special issue for me – my work is below!!
